Tool to call Congress on Iraq/Iran

Tool to call Congress on Iraq/Iran

Please forward this tool to your members, activists and coalition partners. The tool makes it easy for people to call Congress to criticize the US assassinations in Iraq and opposing the escalation of conflict with Iran.

The tool identifies the caller’s members of Congress and calls them (their two Senators and House representative) after they fill out the short form. The tool calls their Congressional Reps and the caller is given talking points for their conversation with the staff member. The tool has a greater participation rate because it walks people through the process.

We have not identified this as a Popular Resistance tool because we want other organizations to use it. It would be good for Congress members to begin getting calls when they return tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7, 2019.

Here is a link to it on Popular Resistance:  https://popularresistance.org/tell-congress-no-war-on-iran/

If you want to put this tool on your website we can provide an embed code.

It is going to take lots of phone calls and other pressure on Congress to get them to stop a war with Iran and escalating the conflict in Iraq. Telephone calls are the best alternative to pressuring Congress if you cannot visit them personally or confront them in public.

Please spread this widely and encourage people to make calls to Congress. We should be encouraging people to call Congress on a regular basis so we can create a wave of calls.

Thanks.
