Japanese civil society firmly believes the Tokyo Olympic Games is now
totally out of the question.
Japan needs to be liberated from the Olympic burden in order to consecrate
maximum efforts to coping with the current crisis.

Please allow me to inform you of a shocking article published in today’s “Nikkan Gendai”, a most popular paper.
It points out that the continued attachment to the Tokyo Olympic Games could become fatal for Japan and that the lives of the Japanese should be considered more important.
It asserts that the Japanese people have now realized that the Olympic Games has been utilized to prolong the tenure of the Government.
It confirms the delay in making the decision of cancellation increases vainly the burden of the population and the public expense.
